This flexible Ethernet/CAT5e cable with a high bending resistance …

… is made for continues flexing in e-chain® (cable track) applications, for which normal high flexible Ethernet/CAT5e cables are not suitable.
Such high mechanical loads need specially designed, produced and tested cable types. Because of that, igus, the manufacturer of reinforced plastic Energy Chain Systems®, injection moulded polymer bearings and operator of the world's largest test laboratory for e-chain®-cables and e-chain®, developed and tested the Ethernet/CAT5e cable with the part number CFBUS.PUR.045.
Fine-wire strand in especially bending-stable version consisting copper wires with a short pitch length.
Bending-stable braid, made of tinned copper wires.
Low-adhesion mixture on the basis of PUR for the outer jacket, highly abrasion- and bending-stable, adapted to suit the requirements in e-chains®.
Minimum bending radius 12,5 x d for e-chain® use
flame-retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2, CEI 20-35, VW-1, FT1
oil-resistant following DIN EN 50363-10-2
Fulfilled standards: cULus, NFPA, EAC, CTP, CEI, RoHS-II, DESINA and CE
