Number of CC-Link compatible products reaches 1000 types
CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA/ Head office: Kita-ku Nagoya-city, Chairman: Takashi Sekiguchi, professor emeritus at the Yokohama National University, Board Members: IDEC Corporation / NEC Corporation / Cognex Corporation / Digital Electronics Corporation / Mitsubishi Electric Corporation) has deployed energetic activities since its establishment in November 2000 as an organization for promoting the global spread of CC-Link family including “CC-Link”, an open-field network originating in Japan. Now, we would like to inform that the number of CC-Link connection compatible products reached 1000 types in August 2009.As a field network which provides a high speed and stable I/O response with cable-saving and low cost, CC-Link will respond to your needs with the expanding repertoire of products.
CC-Link is a field network which can transfer the control and information data at the same time in high speed to respond to various needs for FA systems. It matches the expanding multi-vender environment and can establish a high-quality network with cable-saving and low cost.
The number of CC-Link compatible products has been increasing year by year, and the number reached 1004 at the end of August 2009. It is the first time for an open-field network originating from Asia to reach 1000 types. The number of the partner manufactures is over 1232 (including 736 overseas manufactures, about 60% of all) at the end of August 2009. Also, the total number of shipments of products used in all over the world is over 6 million nodes. The repertory of products covers a whole range of devices such as PLC, each type of I/O device, indicators, inverter, servo, process device, solenoid valve, sensor, ID, robot, electric device and even each type of cable and wiring parts.

CC-Link has been adopted mainly in Asia as the open-field network which is the first and originated in Japan. Now it has been approved for the International Standard ISO15745-5, IEC61158, and IEC61784, International Standard for semiconductors and FPD (Flat Panel Display) sector SEMI E54.12, China National Standard GB/Z19760-2005, and GB/T19760-2008, and Korea National Standard KSBISO15745-5, and is growing as a global standard.
The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) will be dedicated to further develop and spread the CC-Link family and contribute to the technical innovation in FA field and the development of domestic and international industry.
