The CC-Link Partner Association
established a North American headquarters in Vernon Hills,
Illinois, USA in December 2000. The role of the organization
is to provide information, education, and the promotion of
CC-Link technology and CLPA partner products throughout North
America. A primary responsibility is to provide technical
support to CLPA partners who plan to incorporate CC-Link
compatibility in their products. This support includes design
engineering assistance and hardware development kits for
use by CLPA members. The role of the CLPA is to significantly
increase the use of CC-Link, and to promote the CC-Link compatible
products manufactured by CLPA partners. Promotional activities
include educational seminars, exhibiting at trade shows,
trade press coverage, mailings and web-based listings. |

Conformance
Testing Facility now open in North America |

The CC-Link Conformance Testing
Facility in North America is now open. It is located at the
CLPA office in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This facility makes
it convenient for North American companies to obtain official
certification of their CC-Link compatible products. After
successful completion of the conformance test, the CLPA partner
is granted the use of the official CC-Link logo for his product.
The product is then listed on the CLPA web site and promoted
throughout the world by the organization. |

Upcoming Exhibition - SEMICON West 2005 |
|
|
|
| |
CLPA-North America will exhibit at SEMICON
West - the largest conference and exhibition dedicated to
the semiconductor manufacturing industry. It will be held
in San Francisco at the Moscone Center from July 12-14. This
will be the 5th consecutive year that CLPA has exhibited
here. Our booth will be in the North Hall #5217 and will
include samples of a number of CC-Link compatible products
as well as a listing of all CLPA partner products. We will
promote CC-Link technology and products and will discuss
new CC-Link developments with users, partners and potential
partners. |
