Report on Memorial Seminar Announcing CC-Link IE Field Network

A seminar on the next-generation CC-Link IE Field Network held on Nov. 25 (Wed), the first day of System Control Fair 2009, by CLPA. It features gigabit transmission speed capable of handling large-volume control and management data.
The seminar, which introduced new network specifications, was given by CLPA Technical Task Force Chair Person Kazuhiro Kusunoki and attended by field equipment vendors and industrial network users eager to learn about CC-Link IE Field Network specifications.
At the opening of the seminar, CLPA Board of Director firm representatives reviewed CLPA achievements and projected approaches.
Now that CC-Link is the Asian network standard, CLPA will expand the CC-Link IE product lineup, targeting making the CC-Link family the spot-on network for a wide variety of systems.
