Report of CC-Link Technology and Implementation Seminar in Europe

CLPA Europe hosted a CC-Link Technology and Implementation seminar in Frankfurt, Germany, for companies considering developing CC-Link family compatible products.
Despite this being the first such seminar for CLPA Europe, 20 representatives from 13 major manufacturers in Europe attended. Hosts were pleased at participantsf motivation and the lively Q&A discussions.
The first half of the seminar was devoted to a CC-Link family network overview. The second half started with a presentation giving guidelines on how to develop CC-Link compatible products, followed by presentations from end-users such as HMS Industrial Networks introducing network interface products, Warsaw University of Technology introducing a case study of entrusted development, and Balluff GmbH introducing a case study on in-house development.
CLPA Europe plans to continue holding this seminar regularly to help CLPA partners develop products.
