CLPA-Korea held a CC-Link IE Seminar on July 17, 2008 at SC Convention Center of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
After the speech from Mr. Kim, senior advisor of CLPA-Korea, Mr. Tanaka, director of CLPA and Dr. Kusunoki, chairperson of CLPA Technical Task Force made presentations about the topics of CLPA’s latest activities, the concept and features of CC-Link IE. Also there introduced the technical features of CC-Link family networks, i.e., CC-Link, CC-Link/LT and CC-Link Safety.
There were over 130 attendees and active discussion was made.

CLPA-Taiwan conducted the CC-Link Road Show from June 17 to 20 this year at 4 major cities of Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung.
This time we announced the Ethernet based integrated network “CC-Link IE” with the presentations of Mr. Tanaka, director of CLPA and Dr. Kusunoki, chairperson of CLPA Technical Task Force about the topics of CLPA’s latest activities, the concept and feature of CC-Link IE, etc. The road show was a big success with attendees more than 100 each hall.
In Taiwan, the demand of network is large, based on the rising FPD and semiconductor industries. During the seminar, we got many Q&As, which proves high interest of CC-Link IE in Taiwanese market.

During the period of the seminar (Sep 25 to Sep 28),the manufacturers had gathered in a hall.?
The seminar has been highly successful in both Taichung and Tainan, attending 100 visitors of 90 companies.
Mr. Wang, a junior staff member of Ministry of Economy in Taiwan, had a speech in the seminar, telling that Taiwan government was going to focus on indigenization of the devices. He also said that the safety was the corporate responsibility, and the point was how far companies focus on safety including environmental protection.

The CLPA-Americas booth displayed numerous CC-Link compatible products operating on a CC-Link network and promoted CC-Link new technology. CC-Link Safety, which was released last year, drew a high degree of attention from visitors,
and the company had many inquiries.
Some CLPA manufacturers displayed CC-Link compatible products in their booths and promoted CC-Link technology together with CLPA-Americas.

CLPA　partner manufacturers　who also exhibited at the show displayed in their booths a plaque advertising the fact that they are members of CLPA and that they produce CC-Link compatible products. That impressed visitors greatly CC-Link as open field network originated from Japan & Asia.
